Ted Brown Music on Columbia Center Blvd will supply all of these items to you. You may rent and instrument and purchase your book there. Ted Brown keeps large supplies of these books. Also Music Unlimited rents string instruments.
I look forward to having your student in class. Please feel free to email me at
Maxine.Townson@rsd.edu if you have any questions. Have a great school year!

All students who are interested in being a member of Kids of Steel will be invited to a 2 day(morning) mini steel drum "camp" that will allow me to watch the students interact, observe them learning the songs and playing the drums, and observe their attitudes when it comes to sharing and working together. Additionally, I will be taking attendance and keeping note of who is on time in the morning, ready to listen and learn. The best thing about having all the students come for a mini camp is the fact that everyone who has applied will have the opportunity to learn and play the steel drums. At the end of the camp, the Kids of Steel members will be selected. I will also keep a reserve list of kids that I may ask to invite if current members are not meeting the expectations.
