UPDATE 1/28/20: The Richland School Board voted to move forward with construction of a new Badger Mountain Elementary. The new school will open in August 2021. Badger Mountain students and staff will be temporarily housed at the new school located near Keene Road and Belmont Boulevard in West Richland during the 2020-21 school year.
UPDATE 1/10/20: Thank you to everyone who attended and heard our plans on the construction of the new Badger Mountain Elementary. The Richland School Board will begin reviewing plans for the project at its regular meeting on Jan. 14 with a final decision by Jan. 28. Check back for more updates.

ORIGINAL POST: Badger Mountain Elementary families and community members are invited to a community meeting on Jan. 9 to learn the latest about the construction of a new school for Badger Mountain students.
The meeting will be at 6 p.m. in the Badger Mountain gym.
A rebuilt Badger Mountain Elementary and new Elementary 12 in the Badger Mountain South development are two of several projects included in a bond approved by voters in 2017. District administrators will share factors that may affect the construction of the two schools at the meeting.
Attendees will be able to give feedback for consideration by the Richland School Board.
